This classic 1930's village Colonial is a show stopper!!
Completely renovated five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, dining room, living room, heated breezeway solarium, laundry room, two primary bedrooms with en-suites (one on the first floor, one on the second floor), and sunroom.
The home has a new kitchen, all new windows, updated floor plan, new electric and plumbing, new laundry room, The entire home has been freshly painted and gorgeous refinished hardwood floors.
This home captures you the minute you walk in with its calming modern beach inspired decor, many places to gather, or its quiet space options which are spread through out the home. There is a place for everyone to enjoy! This property boasts 2422 sq./ft. of living and sleeps 10 comfortably.
Built at a time when high craftsmanship was the norm, there are many period details that we restored to highlight its stunning 1930’s appeal.
There is a heated breezeway/mudroom between the garage and main house. The outside shower is accessible through this space!
It has casual seating , a dedicated work space and beautiful oversized windows. Perfect for you to enjoy a cup of coffee and look out over the long front yard to Pond Street.
Also on the first floor is a magnificent king size bedroom, with an en-suite full bath and walk in closet! It’s ideal for those who do not want to use stairs or perhaps craves a bit of seclusion.
The first floor also has a brand new laundry room equipped with large size stackable washer/dryer, folding station and cabinetry for storage of sheets, blankets and towels.
The kitchen is brand new and freshly stocked with all that you would need for a summer rental or a long term stay in this inviting home.
The open floor plan from the kitchen leads right into the dining room. A large dining table, which can seat 10, awaits family and friend dinners and conversation.
Finishing the first floor is a large living room that has a huge SmartTV, desk for work space and enough seating for everyone.
Our favorite relaxing space is a cozy front to back four season porch. Two comphy couches to read or chat on, and a round 4 seat table perfect to read the paper or play games on!
On the second floor we have another king size bedroom with a full ensuite bathroom! Then three additional bedrooms. (Two queens and one full). Lastly is the third full tub/shower bathroom.
All bedrooms have brand new linens, blankets, sheets and comforters. All bathrooms have brand new towels and accessories. You will feel like you are in a luxury hotel.
When you arrive, you will be greeted by a quintessential New England circular drive with a flag pole in the center. The house is set well back on a lovely treed lot and a pleasure to view from Pond Street. There are sidewalks in front of the house that make it easy for runs/walks or enjoy an evening stroll into town or to the harbor.
The entertainment size rear deck, with patio seating for all and a grill, overlooks a large private backyard. Theres enough room for corn hole, frisbee, badminton or relaxing on Adirondack chairs. There is a secluded heated outdoor shower to rinse off and refresh after a day at the beach or Bassings Beach in Cohasset harbor.
This is an amazing home and it’s location offers you tranquility while being central to everything.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home during our renovation which gave us much needed normalcy during an otherwise extremely hectic time. The hosts are so responsive and flexible which was so helpful when dealing with the uncertainty of renovation timelines. We didn’t feel like we were even in a VRBO as the property is so warm and home-like. Highly, highly recommended this property.

Summary: The property is beautiful and well kept. We were on a family vacation with ages ranging from 3 to 75. Lots of room to socialize together and still have privacy. The two little ones loved running in the back yard while the adults were on the back deck. Hosts were fantastic and provided good information on the area.

Summary: Great house for a family vacation. Highly recommend it. Large, clean, big backyard. Looks just like the photos. Near lovely beaches and Cohasset Main Street. Lots to do. Check out the Scituate Library’s children’s programs for a rainy day activity. Hosts respond promptly.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! It was perfectly located. The beds were comfy with nice linens and towels. The house was clean. There were comfortable places to gather and several eating areas inside and out. The kitchen was very well appointed with all you need to cook. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had and were purely delightful to work with. We can't wait to return!!

Summary: Perfect house for our family over the Christmas holidays. My daughter and new baby lived around the corner so we were able to walk to their house each morning. We stopped in town to pick up bagels and coffee! Restuarants in Hingham, Cohasset and Scituate are terrific and quite an assortment. Only drawback of the house is that the only bathroom on the first floor is in the master bedroom. Otherwise perfect place.

Summary: The first thing you need to know is that this property is even better than the photos. This is a very old, traditional New England house and the owners have clearly spent a lot of time and money renovating, decorating, and modernizing. It's very, very nice. I rented this property in order to host a small group (8 people) for Thanksgiving; this is something I have done many times before and it's always a risk, you just don't know what you'll find kitchenwise when you get there. This kitchen is incredibly well-equipped, there was a brand new set of all clad nonstick pans and some of the tools I brought (garlic press, sharp knives) were totally unnecessary as they were already there. There was even an unopened le creuset roasting pan. Everything about the house exceeded expectations. We will back for sure
